Inspired by the Northern Lights and an HBC trade knife, this piece was created during the production of Fire & Slice, a television series filmed for MTS and Fibe TV. The recipient, Livia Gloux, a chef from Winnipeg, was the subject of the story and wanted something reminiscent of her history of travelling up North and discovering her culture and ultimately, herself.
