Most of the wrought was removed from the exterior layer but small spots of it remain. This multi-layer construction gyoto has a refined feel in the hand and on the cutting board but it has a rustic appeal driven from this spotty exterior and fractured Elm handle. Voids in the handle were filled with black CA glue and it’s blade forward weight feels great.

After adding the knife to the cart and payment processing, the knife is cleaned and reinspected. It is then carefully wrapped in craft paper, packaged in a box and shipped promptly via Canada Post and then transferred to USPS for US residents. Packages are shipped with insurance in case something terrible does happen, but I have never faced any shipping issues.
